"Ceedes" as she is affectionately called by family and friends is about to
make a screen debut in the movie "3 Women". This comes on the heels
of two strong performances in the play ,the Conversation by Floyd
Marshall in 2012.
This year brings a role in a play called "God Don't Like Ugly" and a recurring part in a television pilot titled Brotherhood of Silver. This show
is on Bounce/WUMC on Thursdays at 9:00 pm.

All this and working 40 hrs a week.
This breakneck pace is not undaunting to Ceedes. She fears being typecast but is not afraid to play any role.
Merceedes possesses the physical attributes of the women
featured in GQ Top Sexiest Women of the Century.
She will be the next face that promotes your brand or
stars in your stage production. Merceedes combines her beauty
with a personality that is down to earth as you can be. Most of all,she is
intelligent and has a plan for success. That plan includes time for seven
questions.
1)What do you do when you're not working or practicing your craft?
Merceedes - I spend time with my family and working out. I am
working at learning what gets you in the door. I plan to take a class
at the Walnut Street Theatre on Techniques. This will help seperate
me from the people that half hearted about trying to make it.
2).Who is the person whose artistic style you would emulate if you
could and why? Merceedes - Meryl Streep. "She can play any role.
She comes across humble with capability and power."
3).What is your favorite restaurant? Merceedes - "My Grandma
Kitchen. The food is always good and there is no dress code."
LOL.
4) What is your ultimate career goal? Merceedes - "I want to get paid
for what I love full time. If I could win an Oscar or Tony that would
be okay. But I really want to do what I love. Acting!"
5).What is the hippest city that you have been to? "Toronto. I love
how clean it is. Just like New York City, a melting pot."
6).You been fortunate to appear in theatre, film and now a tv show.
Your preference?
Merceedes - Theatre is my favorite.You get instant gratification from
the audience.
7). If you could be on the cover of any magazine, which one would it be?
Merceedes - "Vogue. After that I could get anything."

Merceedes will be starring in the film Three Women, a production by
Angelique Marshall. The film will debut at Club Risque, located at
1700 Columbus Blvd. The date is 3/1/13. Tickets can be purchased
