Miami Celebration featuring Lebron James, D Wade,#ABFF & #DDS

Miami Heat celebrated the repeat of their title defense with a parade on
Monday. The crowd in attendance was in excess of 400,000 people.
Lebron James, the NBA Finals MVP, led the Heat as they received the
accolades from the fans. Dwayne Wade, co-leader of the Heat, spoke
about his appreciation of the support the team received thru out the season.

Wade said that without the fans, Miami wouldn't have found a way to win the title.
"It's humbling. It's very humbling to be here," Wade said, gazing out at the enormous crowd. "I envision a lot of things. I can't say I envisioned this. This parade down Biscayne Boulevard was once a vision by Coach Riley and now we've taken this ride three times. It's special."

Fans came from all over the country to join in the festivities. The town has been partying since Thursday evening when the Heat clinched the Championship. Some people came from as far away as Philadelphia.

DDS arrived Thursday afternoon and watched the final game in South Beach. The trip included business contacts, beach activities and clubbing.

Here is a shot of Miami Beach early morning.

Most of the nightlife occurred at the Clevelander Hotel. This has been a
prime spot to party for decades. The Clevelander is back in action after a multi-million dollar renovation and upgrade to the ultimate one-stop destination experience. It is located at the center of the Art Deco District on Ocean Drive.

The American Black Film Festival was held in Miami during this week
of celebration. Stars such as Morris Chestnut, Regina King, Kevin Hart
and Nia Long were in attendance. This was an outstanding networking
event for independent film makers. Marketing strategies of the major
film studios were discussed. Premieres of the summer and fall movies
were shown to the attendees. A great opportunity to market one's talent.

#DDS is looking forward to attending this event next year as well. Can't guarantee that will include another Championship but the party continues.

I want to thank #DDS for the info and pictures from Miami. You can see more of her and the trip by following her at @ceedesb on Instagram,

I also want to shout out the @InSouthFlorida on Twitter for providing information about the small businesses in Miami. They promote the region
and build the economy by connecting with consumers. I follow them now because of how they responded to a request #DDS had early in the trip.
