This past Monday, HBO's Ty Robinson and Atlantic City Chronicles Steve Rinaldi set out on a
New York adventure. They went to the city to do an audition and network. After the audition, they
received a text from an agent. The agent was inquiring as to their interest and whereabouts.
When they told him they were in New York, the agent ask them where. After sharing the location,
he responded, "Stay right there". In a matter of 2 minutes, he approach them. The conversation was
fruitful. More on that later.
The point is that when planning meets opportunity, great things happen. If they don't plan the trip to NYC and the text comes to them, then they don't meet the agent. He had no idea where they were when he reached out to them. Does it always go this way? No! But if you position yourself and link up with people that are positive, good things generally will happen.
