Revel Review and Recap

The most exciting thing to happen to Atlantic City opened in April,2012. Revel Casino Resort
had a soft opening up to Memorial Day Weekend. The Memorial Day weekend is considered
the start of the summer season. Revel lead the season off with the Star of stars, Beyonce.
Since it's opening, I have been to Revel three times. I was there for the ECGC gaming conference,
the Beyonce concert opening night and today.
Each time has transform me into a time capsule. I go from attending business to a retreat for
pleasure. The concert was one of the best shows that I have ever seen. What was equally as
stunning was the design of the room. The showroom is something you would experience in Las
Vegas. Every seat has a clear and direct view of the stage.
Today, I was able to just come down and enjoy the casino. If I closed my eyes, I would envision
being on the strip next to the MGM Grand. I felt appreciated by the staff  and the supervisors.
Everyone asked do you have a players card and would you like to obtain one. The table minimums
were industry standard 10 thru 50, depending on the game.
Revel has a beautiful decor and architectural design. Everything has texture and is appealing to the eye.
The hotel faces the ocean and embraces the beach. It is a totally smoke free environment. Revel has a
refreshing smell and aura.
I can now say that I have dined at two restaurants at Revel. The American Cut is a luxurious
steakhouse where the food is worth the price. The Distrito Cantina has a feel of Mexico with real
tacos and margaritas. I enjoyed both of my dining experiences. Revel has three of the top chefs
from the Philadelphia,New York and Washington,D.C. markets. These chefs are Alain Allegretti,
Jose Garces and Michel Richards.
Revel's most outstanding feature is it's ability to appeal to a diverse crowd. The gaming and dining
audience consisted of all ages. The atmosphere make you want to visit and return. The high limit
area is called the Ultra Lounge. It has the feel of being in a upscale bar with gaming tables.
The nightclub is called the HQ and that will open in July. I believe the 5th  or the 8th. I plan to check
it out. But as of now, I don't need an additional reason to go to Revel. From the rooftop pool to the amazing lighting, this place is worth a trip to Atlantic City. Compare it to where you go now and make your decision.
