Online Gaming in New Jersey

Online Gaming has been up and running for 10 days now. After a soft opening that had some glitches, the casino operators in New Jersey were able to meet the starting date of Nov.26.
Some of the problems the sites faced were related to players inability to log in and geolocation. Those issues have been addressed and as of this post, more than 50,000 people have registered to play. Many of these individuals may have multiple registrations. This inflates the number. To this point, there is more interest in online gaming in New Jersey than in Nevada.

Nevada is limited because they are only offering poker. New Jersey offers all casino games. I am curious as to how Delaware is doing with internet play. They have been operating for over a month. No numbers to report as of yet.

Some of the operators in New Jersey have commercials running late night to promote and advertise their gaming sites. The shows I have seen the promos run on include Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with David Letterman and ESPN's SportsCenter.  These shows have large audiences. Smart PR.
