Daniel Tucker is making his way toward fame with the power of the pen. He is an accomplished writer who is currently working on two literary projects.
He finds time to do this and
work two jobs at Philadelphia area casinos. This task is not overwhelming to him.
A graduate of Shippenburg University in May 2011, Daniel was able to take dealing classes while on break from school.
In addition to writing, he has performed in plays and done auditions for film and theatre productions.
He has a degree in Inter Disciplinary Arts. Daniel is open to displaying his acting talents as well as his creative writing. He found time to answer seven questions.
1). What do you do when you're not working or practicing your craft?
Daniel - "When I'm not spending my time working on my art, I like to exercise, read, and find time for family and friends.
It's imperative to always work on your mind as well as your body.
And to always find time for those you care for. These are some
of the things that keep me grounded."
2). What is the last book that you read? Daniel - "The last book I read
was a book of poetry by Nikki Giovanni. She is one of my
favorite poets and her work inspires me. Reading poetry helps me
with my writing. I like to surround myself with great art."
3).What do you use for motivation to pursue your dreams?
Daniel - "Some things I use as my motivation are, my past and all of the obstacles that I've overcome. My family and all the things I want to prove to them. And for my future children, I want to build a life for them that's inspirational as well as become a symbol of strength and security."4). If you could be in any generation what would it be? Daniel - "I would
be in the Harlem Renaissance in New York City. The explosion of culture
at the time featured music, art and writing. This era produced writers such as Counter Cullin and Langston Hughes."
5.) If you were in a romantic scene in a movie, who would be your co-star? Daniel - "If I was in a romantic scene, I would definitely want it to be with my biggest celebrity crush. Kerry Washington, she is absolutely breathtaking."
6). What is the hippest city that you have ever been in? Daniel - "I would have to say New York City."
7). What quote do you use for inspiration? "Two quotes that inspire me come from the Great Frederick Douglass:
"I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others, rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence."
And..."Without struggle, there is no progress."

"Our forevers are marked by the memories painted upon the walls of our minds
They create murals of
Love
Life
Friends
Life
Friends
And the tragedies that have shaped our very foundation
Each day begins with a footstep toward our envisioned destiny
And ends with a realization of greatness in the making." ~Daniel Tucker
